Estawa is another full-sister to the legendary stallion, *El Shaklan. Estawa was crowned European Champion mare. Sigi feels that she was the best of the full-siblings. It was an incredible tragedy when she died too early in her life. Estawa only had two foals in her very short time but they were incredible. Her first filly was by the Hadban Enzahi son, Malik. She was named Bint Estawa. Bint Estawa is well known for her son Estawan Shaklan (by *El Shaklan) who spent most of his life in Spain and was named Spanish National Champion Stallion. Bint Estawa had another son by Ibn Estopa named Estasan Ibn Estopa. He was Junior World Champion colt in 1986 and Senior World Champion Stallion in 1987.

Estawa's second daughter, by *El Shaklan, was Bint El Shaklan. This filly was so incredibly beautiful and may have been one of the greatest fillies to ever come from this breeding program. Her beauty was ethereal and her soul was pure magic. She was as sweet and wise as she was beautiful. Bint El Shaklan was sold together with her father and died a few weeks later. We still cry when we talk about Bint El Shaklan, nearly forty years later.
