Om El Benicio

(WH Justice × Om El Benecia)
Grey Stallion , Born 2013

Please contact us for special breeding incentives for this spectacular young stallion!

This stallion is one of our favorites from the 2013 foal crop.  He has his sire's attitude and tons of refinement that also comes from his dam.  She is a full-sister to Om El Bellissimo.  Benicio is just what we wanted from this amazing cross!  He is refined, balanced and very well made.    He was shown to Top Ten in the Junior Championship at the Breeder's World Cup in Las Vegas with Sandro Pinha. Om El Bencio was leased to Signature Equine in 2016. We are excited for his first foal crop. He has returned home from spending the winter at Midwest Training Center in preparation for the Scottsdale International Show, where he tied for Bronze Champion Stallion.

Perspectives by Janina: Reflecting on Lenita and Sigi

(Pictured left to right: Lenita, Sigi and Marietta Salas of Ses Planes) What an interesting and uplifting exercise it is to contemplate the lives of two of the most influential breeders of our time: Lenita Perroy and Sigi Siller.   My mother Sigi founded Om El Arab in 1970 in the Black Forest region of Germany.  My mother and father imported 18 mares from Spain and three horses from Egypt as the foundation of the Om El Arab breeding program.
